Entrance Exams
Here at Thames Tuition, we have tutors who specialise in a variety of STEM subjects. We help students prepare for Oxbridge entrance exams as well as medical, dental and veterinary sciences. All of our tutoring sessions are 1-1 and can be held online or in-person, which means that the lessons are flexible and convenient to you and your schedule. UCAT Tuition
The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is a computer-based admissions test, used in UK and non-UK Universities to help select applicants for their medical and dental degree programmes. It is used in collaboration with other admissions processes such as the UCAS application and academic qualifications. The test consists of 5 sections: verbal reasoning, decision making, quantitative reasoning, abstract reasoning, situational judgement.
We understand that the UCAT can be very challenging and causes a lot of anxiety amongst many students. However, with help from our experts, we offer guidance on all 5 sections of the UCAT exam, tailoring our UCAT teaching to each student’s strengths and weaknesses. BMAT Tuition
BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT) is used by universities around the world to help select applicants for medical, dental, biomedical and veterinary degree programmes. It tests your ability to apply scientific and mathematical knowledge, as well as problem solving, critical thinking and written communication skills. A unique aspect of the teaching we offer at Thames Tuition, is that we can offer tailored support from a variety of tutors each providing specialist knowledge about their STEM subject.
We understand that the BMAT might not be something that all schools can help students with, which is why we offer personalised support helping students develop tailored revision plans which thoroughly cover each part of the BMAT exam. It can be a very challenging process to summarise your life experiences, personal qualities, aspirations, and desires into just 4000 characters and 47 lines.
